Last year, my associates at Beachy Beach helped send 75 kids to a day camp over Christmas break so they could make gifts for their friends and family. This year, we are hoping to top that and send 100 kids to “His Greatest Gift” camp, but I need your help!
The cost for a child to go is $35 and I am looking for sponsors to help! If you are interested in helping, you can contact me through my cell at 850-598-0780 or by my email at Denise@beachybeach.com
“His Greatest Gift Camp” is one of my favorite events put on by Holy Kidz Camps. The camp is a day camp that happens during the Christmas break where kids ages 4 – 10 make one of a kind art and Christmas presents for their family and friends. In addition, the kids will make one signature art piece under the direction of local, award winning artists Mary Hong and Robin Cannon that will be auctioned off at the Holy Kidz fundraiser event, “How Great Thou Art” that takes place in April 2015.
They also have a blast celebrating the reason for the season, as they have a birthday party for Jesus, and who doesn’t love a party?
My own daughter has participated and we are both looking forward to this year’s camp- she for the fun art stuff, and me so I can get in some last minute shopping!
I am excited that my fellow Beachy Beach Realtors are once again supporting this wonderful event put on by Holy Kidz Camps, one of my favorite local organizations. Holy Kidz Camps is a local, Christian non-profit who operates by the wisdom of the Corinthians verse “Planting the seeds that God grows.” The group holds camps and day camps that gives kids safe, fun, and creative activities to engage their minds and spirits, and encourages them to pursue their God given potential.
